Pours dark brown almost black with small one finger head.
The aroma is largely red wine with some dark chocolate and cherry.
This is very wine forward, as expected for a beer that spent 14 months in red wine barrels, but below that is an absolutely delicious chocolate covered cherry. It's a fantastic beer.
If you like red wine get to the brewery and try it, if not you'll hate it. I think the barrel is a bit over powering, but I'm still really enjoying this.
