another great beer from these guys enjoyed on tap at the source. its really exceptional pils, a fair bit maltier than most, but not in the sense that its darker or sweeter or heavier, but in the sense that the malt seems to have a lot more flavor than its peers, maybe fresher, its beautiful and american in a cool new way, a great and highly drinkable glass of beer that i could keep on coming back to again and again if i lived in the area. clear and bubbly with a nice noble hop profile in both nose and taste, traditionally styled, but really robust for what it is, not bitter or harsh at all, and not heavy or anything other than crisp, but somehow more flavor than a lot of these have, i would think owing largely to freshness. one of the weirdest things in here is how series they seem to take themselves and their beer, and then how cartoonish and playful and sort of goofy the labels all look out in the real world, there seems to be some sort of disconnect there, but their beer is better than it looks in the bottles, especially here at the brewery. this is a great glass of pils!

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, pale-golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of sweet breads, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel with a mild bitterness.
