Great expression of simcoe hops. Very light mouthfeel. Drinks light like a session

Normally not a fan of Simcoe but we'll see how much fruitiness vs ash they extracted here. 12 oz bottle poured into wide mouthed Ploughshare solo cup glass.
A nice champagne-like whiteness permeates through a darker yellow sun colored body. The haze is there but not particularly juicy. Foamy head of 1/2 finger and it recedes to a fingernail with sparse lacing.
Bright orange and grapefruit notes on the nose, with hints of vanilla and orange zest, and perhaps a little berry.
Flavor profile is surprisingly clean and enjoyable. The berry notes come through really strong and nice, in the form of blackberry and blueberry, and some cranberry even. Apricot follows that, with the slight earthiness that Simcoe is known for but not overly so. Faint orange zest and perhaps grapefruit and/or lemon zest fade out the profile as the lights dim on this beer.
Feel is crisp and clean, light and airy. Juicy but not creamy.
Overall, this is one highly enjoyable beer. Exile is doing some great stuff lately. Somehow these guys managed to take all of the positive qualities of the Simcoe hop (which I'm usually not a fan of) and they knocked it out of the park. This beer is really, really good.

Pours a hazy very light straw color. Aromas of citrus, fresh berries, and light pine. Tastes mirrors the nose. Very juicy with mild bitterness. Light bodied and extremely crushable.
