This was my favorite beer of the flight I tried on September 1, 2018.
Super cloudy color, making a muddy dark gold color. Good lace from a moderate head.
Balanced smell of lightly toasted malt and flowery hop.
There's a good sweet base and the hop makes a good counterpoint, balancing the flavor well. This continues all the way to the aftertaste. Full bodied with enough carbonation to prevent any syrupy mouthfeel. Pleasant balanced finish and aftertaste.

From a bottle purchased in Iowa. Pours a hazy golden straw gold. Not quite New England IPA hazy, but hazy. Decent head that dissipated rather quickly. Aroma is somewhat mild for double IPA, it it has nice hints of ripe mango and bready malt. Taste is juicy tropical goodness. I taste orange and citrus in the background. Nice balance for a double - very drinkable. Malt is there but takes a back seat to hop taste and smoothness. Bittering is restrained but appropriately assertive. This is a well made IPA.
