Poured from a bottle into a pint glass on an Alaskan cruise
L: Pours a clear medium golden color. Two fingers of thick off-white head. Decent lacing.
S: Evergreen.. spruce and pine, biscuity malts.
T/F: Follows the nose, with some bready malts to open things which rapidly gives way to a sharp hop profile. Lots of evergreen mixed with peppercorn. Resinous and bitter. Well carbonated and zesty on the tongue. Finish is dry.
O: A pretty decent west coast style IPA... definitely on the more bitter side of things which is not a criticism. Way better than I was expecting on a cruise, and apparently Strike brews this one specifically for Princess Lines. Sessionable, but with a higher ABV and more hop bite making this a true IPA. Was a happy find, and easily the best beer available on-ship.

Drank a bunch of these on my recent cruise. It was good to see a craft option aboard a cruise.
The beer is an old school IPA. The hop profile is dank with notes of onion, pine and resin. The body has a solid bready malt flavor which really comes out as the beer warms in the Caribbean sun.
The feel is solid, a bit heavy for the hot Caribbean. The beer is quite carbonated. I had a few issues with the beer foaming over.
Good hop flavor but I tired of the beer after about 3 of them and needed to go to Vodka tonics. Its a step in the right direction for cruises though.
