Looks and smells great, but tastes badly roasted

Happy Holihaze DIPA from Strike Brewing Co. is a huge accomplishment, to say the least. It has all the classic notes of great IPAs with resinous citrus, tropical fruit/piney notes and a solid malt back bone, giving moderate carbonation, a pleasant mouthfeel and a surprisingly (masterfully should I say?) balanced bitter sweet finish. In terms of hop character, this is a beer that is very balanced overall, where hops and malts interact gracefully like in a courtesan dance. Highly recommend.

Pours a murky dirty apricot color with white head leaving bubbly lacing. Nose is sweet over ripe fruit . Taste follows with subtle hints of hop bitterness. Fairly smooth with moderate carbonation.

Delightfully hazy pour, great body, color and smell. A delicious beer with a little less hop note than I normally prefer but very tasty with a clean, smooth finish. I would keep this in my fridge as a daily drinker.
