The first of their one-off offerings, currently only available on tap via growlers at the brewery.
A - Pours a nice hazy copper colour, thumb of head with decent retention and some sporadic sheeting lacing.
S - Scent offers up a bouquet of fruity notes, some grassy hops notes, hints of cloves and touch of peppery spice.
T - The most flavourful offering to date, boasting some solid fruity notes, cloves come through nicely alongside some yeast esthers and a solid dose of citrus hops. The bitter hop notes continue to linger alongside a grassy flavour and some buttered caramel.
M - Medium bodied, though can come across a tad thin. I did note that the sample at the brewery had a bit more of a carbonation lift, so its likely due to the growler being a day old.
O - A solid Belgian Pale offering up true to form flavours fitting of the style. A nice solid hop profile will please fans of the style, and it balances well with the fruity Belgian flavours. Definitely a win in my books and I'll be looking forward to the next Anomaly release.
