Thank for the bottle Andrew!
Ruby brown colour, ring of light tan head, no lace to speak of. Smell is roasty and chocolatey, vanilla and coffee beans with some anise, reminds me of a mocha root beer. Taste is roasty with chocolate and anise, a bit of a herbal black liquorice, vanilla mid palate, mocha finish with a vanilla and coffee aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium creamy body. An enjoyable flavoured porter, I found the anise flavour to be a bit overwhelming at times for my tastes but still found this enjoyable.

The latest from the Anomoly series and a pleasant treat for the cold winter weather.
A - Pours a nice dark ruby red, finger of light mocha head, decent retention and some sporadic lacing.
S - Musty cocoa, fresh ground coffee, toasted grains, cooked oatmeal, with a bitter chocolate finish alongside subtle vanilla notes.
T - Nicely balanced with a sweet coffee flavour, mocha notes, hints of milk chocolate, and mild vanilla coming through. The vanilla is a tad light, but adds a subtle sweetness that makes this brew nicely balanced airing on the side of sweet over bitter. Coffee tends to dominate the palette after, which I really enjoyed.
M - Medium bodied, smooth and a touch of dryness on the finish.
O - So close to missing this release, and extremely glad I was able to find it on tap. Definitely kickin myself for missing this at the brewery because I could've easily taken down a growler of this. Well worth seeking out and a solid brew from a series that continues to impress.
