The colour is black (70 EBC), the finger thick compact head is brown. It sinks quite quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is a bit sour. Chocolate, alcohol, coffee grounds and dry minerals.
The taste is heavily roasted with some dry coffee and strong, raw alcohol flavours. Some metal and sourness, I don’t know if it comes from the black malt or the coffee. Full body. The aftertaste got warming alcohol, smooth coffee flavours and a growing sweetness. Hints of liquorice, gunpowder and charcoal. The finish is more balanced with sweet coffee and a touch of dark colocate.
The carbonation is mild to medium, the small bubbles shrot lived. The liquid is thick yet a bit dry.
I didn’t really like this one, as with many other coffee stouts it got some metallic flavours that reminds of old cold coffee. But for those of you who enjoy the style, well... It is not that bad. The sweetness in the after taste saves it to a certain degree.

On-Tap. Tumbler glass. Enjoyed on mar´13. Pours pure black in color headed by beige creamy foam. Lasting small bubbled crown. Aromas of roasted malts & intense toasted bread, herbal hues. Flavors of roasted malts, black bread & subtle licorice. Heavy bitterness & sharp spicy on to the palate. Full body. Soft carbonation. Rye sensations & bitter cocoa hints in the middle linger along with hops into a long & well balanced bitter finish. Dried aftertaste & licorice candy hues. ABV is well hidden so you´d better watch your step since creamy mouthfeel makes drinkability so pleasant at first. Flavorful, suggested for both Rye & Dry Stout lovers.
