The label says “½ IPA”, as the ABV of this beer roughly is half of today’s American IPAs.
The large head is compact and off-white. It sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing. The cloudy liquid is pale brown.
The smell is loaded with American hops. Almonds. It is a bit tart/dry rather than sweet. Hints of rubber. Almost no fruits.
The taste is quite light. Hints of rubber, green hops and unripe plums. Fresh proper hops. Light body. The short dry aftertaste includes green hops and dry malts. The finish got some wooden flavours.
The carbonation is fresh with small sharp bubbles. Light, semi-dry liquid.
An OK low alcohol hoppy beer, a bit too dry though.
