Santiam Brewing Company

Small brewpub in industrial park on the south side of town. English pub vibe and themed. U-shaped bar opposite the entrance seats about 8 with tables and booths about the room and on the covered deck. A dozen beers on tap. Knowledgeable bartenders, albeit a bit off in their own world. Fish and chips were very nice.

 

The beer quality is exceptional. The atmosphere is great. Bartenders are generally knowledgeable though some would do better to focus on customers instead of their phones

 

 

 

 

 

Been open now only 2 months. Thought i would visit the tasting room. ITs only open to the public on Thurs thru Sat and on limited hours. The place is in a small industrial park in a quiet area of Salem. But they have set up a comfortable and claean small light wood bar and taps. right next to the brewery..there is no seperation and it is very cool. 10 or so taps..seasonals, they will fill other companies growlers altogether very nice people, very welcoming. Will be back soon. Salem people support this worthwhile start up
