On-tap at the Hulmeville Inn.
Poured black with some lighter browner highlights. Had a coca-cola colored heading that disappears immediately. Very flat looking after a few sips.
Apple Brandy does pop up but not an overkill just a kiss on the nose. Some darker fruits, a bit of a mocha mix.
Taste is quite a treat. Big burst of apple brandy. Mocha flavors play well the fruity, boozey mixture. Finishes with a bigger fruity kick.
Medium bodied, very light on the palate but does leave a buttery film. Not boozey at all for 10% but very low carbonation almost to the point of drinking water.
I enjoyed this one. Again with some better carbonation this could be one of the best stouts made in the area.
