Had this at Krugel's Georgetown Deli with lunch on 29JAN15. A 12oz pour in a tulip cost me $5.00.
The color was a dark, russet amber, with some haziness. It had a nice head of 1/4" thick, fine and creamy beige foam. The topping lasted well and left nice lacing. Aroma was just a healthy heaping of hops; citrus all over the place! The body was medium+, and it felt fairly creamy on the tongue.
Flavor was all hops, with little-to-no malt discerened. It had some grapefruit/pineapple action, while also being resiny, piney and a touch rindy. The finish, oddly, was where I picked up a hint of malt. Quite tasty, overall! Prosit!!
