440ml Can: out of date by over two years. Given to me by my Son-in-Law as a joke, he found it at the back of a cupboard at his place the other day and dared me to drink it: big mistake.
Poured into a Duvel glass just for giggles: it looked fine at first and could easily have been a Duvel, golden, bright and clean with a huge white head. The head however soon dissipated and once your nose got close the comparison stopped.
The nose was grass and straw with a grain hint, not too shoddy for an old weak Lager, but certainly no Duvel.
The next step was putting some in my mouth: this wasn't so good, in fact there was no taste,it lacked everything, including taste. Some damp cardboard and a grain of barley mashed in a diluted water solution (is it possible to dilute water?) is the best I come up with for a description of the flavours I found.
Obviously weak in the body: it's only 2.5%. I know the can was old, but I wouldn't even call this a 'lawn-mower beer', it just failed on all fronts.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
