This beer is some tie-in with Paramount.
I'm not sure why. It was only 99p a bottle, but it's not great.
Whilst refreshing, it is a bit watery tasting, and has no real distinctive taste

I had a tour around this brewery once, and they seemed to be trying to find their way - although the building was old, there was no real heritage of good brews, and they keep experimenting with new ideas. They also brew a lot of supermarket lagers. THey have been owned by several UK breweries, and their best beer is Formidable Ale, which tastes to me very much like Samuel Smith's Museum ale (perhaps more than a coincidence, since Cains were owned by Sammy Smith's for a while about 15-20 years ago)
