A - Fairly dark for my understanding of a Tripel. Nice haze with a deep burnt orange colour. Good carbonation, although doesn't appear as strong as a Triple would typically be. Pillow of off-white head on top that fades to an island.
S - Baking spice, stewed fruit. Phenolics and esters mix together nicely.
T - Bold orange and baking spice flavours. Quite a lovely complexity with sugar, spice, and fruit and blending together.
M - Lingers in the back of the throat and on the tongue, not overly bitter, carbonation feels strong, creamy body is medium to full.
O/D - A fairly good Tripel that avoids aggressive spice flavour and carries through will a good balance of flavour. Dangerously drinkable. Well done Lon!
