Hazy ruddy amber brown, well carbonated with rising trails visible, and a huge billowing head of tan foam several fingers tall. Chunky sticky lacing and long lasting surface foam.
Aroma is lager yeast forward, with an oddly sterile character, some nutty malt and smoke behind that. As it warms it improves. The smoke is subtle and not overpowering.
Taste is malty and nutty with a wisp of smoke, finishes pretty smooth and clean. Medium bodied and fairly dry.
Overall this a solid seasonal from Baderbrau, who seem to be proving themselves pretty well.

Pours brown. Foamy, short, tan head that fades fast.
Smells caramel malts, bready, nutty, smoke and fruit hints.
Tastes Caramel malt, smoke, bread and light nuttiness. Finish is dry with a smoked malt linger. Medium body and smooth lower carbonation.
