Pours a clear, copper color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, pale malt, hint of caramel malt, hint of wheat, hint of alcohol, hint of pine, and a hint of hops. Fits the style of a Marzen / Oktoberfest. Mouth feel is very sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, pale malt, hint of caramel malt, hint of wheat, hint of alcohol, and a hint of hops. Overall, sharpness is a detriment, but good body, blend, aroma, and appearance.

L: poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass. Nice dark amber color.
S: good aroma of Carmel and malt before first drink and sticking nose in bottle.
T: flavor matches aroma. Tasty marzen, true to the style. Easy to drink.
MF: smooth and uniform; lighter than some other microbrews of this style. Not hoppy at all. Not as thick as some.
O: very good and drinkable marzen. Like the smooth and uniform finish.

For a weeknight beer, this is definitely decent. Overall, it is a fairly light style Oktoberfest beer. Pleasantly nutty with some toffee notes in there. Brown bread and digestive biscuits (bland yet satisfying english cookie). Easy drinking, if not a little watery.
