Well done Rustic Road. This barley wine absolutely needs to be produced and bottled in 750ml bombers. I was not expecting to find this beer, or a beer of this quality. This beer could go toe to toe with a Firewalker Sucuba any day of the week.
A: This pours an opaque black with an initial 1/4 head.
S: This smells of sweet caramel creaminess. Very appetizing.
T: Toasty sweet caramel flavor, very smooth with a slight bitterness. Fabulous flavor!
M: Perfect effervescence to this beer. Well crafted.
O: This is a fantastic barley wine. I'm still in shock I happened to walk by the brewery on a very random trip to Kenosha. In fact, I thought I was going to the neighboring brewery down the street and found a true diamond in the rough. This beer will eventually be a limited release like a Dark Lord or Darkness. Well done.
