"Tricycle Smoked Altbier" ...not sure why the name was changed after I added it.
Draft served in a dimpled half liter mug at The Radler, quick review from written notes.
When held to the light, the glass shows a saturated ruby tone. Compact head of tan foam, that rekindles itself quickly with a swirl of the glass.
Faint malty aroma, with traces of yeast. Simple and straightforward.
Subtle wood smoke, trace maltiness, lightly bitter dry aftertaste. Lingering smoldering smokiness, body is supple and smooth in feel. Easily drinkable, and a recent highlight collaboration beer at The Radler. Paired nicely with the Thüringer and boarwurst.
