An easy drinking straw coloured ale. At 7.2 ABV, this is NOT a session beer and will eventually smack the back of your head when least expected. Great beer though.

It's actually a Saison, but Beer Advocate's interface decided to scroll down one on me when adding it. On tap, poured into a snifter. The aroma is a mellow hay / barn funk with a mild citrus and pepper touch and a bit of bubblegum creeping in late. The beer is a hazy straw hue with a white foam soap head that has a moderate, light retention, and leaves a light lace. The taste is a medium / medium-high, spritzy sweet supported by a medium light sour and a light bitter. The beer is oily with a spritzy carbonation. The medium body has floral flavors of citrus and tropical with a grassiness that finishes crisp with notes of pepper and bread, and just a touch of bubblegum. The aftertaste is a clean pepper with a light dough funk that's mellow in strength and turns to bubblegum late near the end of it's moderate length.
