this is a nice beer, inventive and well made. its surprising that the rosemary does not overpower it, it would seem like that would be an obvious pitfall of brewing a beer wish such a bold ingredient as this, but they have controlled it very well. surprisingly enough, there isnt all that much apricot though, its not lost to the piney herbaceous rosemary at all, but its just not really there, there is a little sweetness, i guess i can conjure up dried apricots if i try hard enough from that, but this element is lacking a little bit for me. still, the rosemary and the hops have like a citrus and savory thing working, good bitterness here, just enough body, and a long unique finish thats both hearty and refreshing. a culinary beer if i have ever seen one too, i mean, the food application for this thing are endless. we liked it with their unique pizzas, but thats only the beginning of its potential i think. overall a really cool beer, maybe too flavored to fit the pale ale category that well, but i like the beer a lot. one of the more creative beers on the menu here, definitely one to try when you visit this awesome spot.
