Jet black with a huge head of puffy meringue foam, drippy lacing down the glass. Lasting skim for a few sips, patchy coverage on the back half.
Cocoa with cream, bittersweet chocolate, charred bread crusts.
Smooth mellow roast, bittersweet and chocolatey, nice caramelization, mild roasty bitterness in the finish. Creamy texture, light bodied, carb is fairly light over time.
Overall it’s a nice version of a CDL, slightly sweeter but pleasant.
