32oz grunt filled at the Iron Goat brewpub for approximately $8. Pints at Iron Goat go for $4.50, which make it a bargain in my book.
Poured into an Iron Goat pint glass, this was a dark golden amber color, with great clarity and a good-sized, creamy, off-white head. Moderate amount of lace.
Mango-like fruitiness and piney notes greet the schnozz. There are also some herbal and peppery elements that come out to play a bit more as the beer warms.
Gentler hop bite than many IPAs. Piney and fruity, but fairly gentle on both counts. The peppery, herbal notes are supporting characters rather than major players. Finishes dry, and a little clean (for an IPA, anyway), though with a little more bitterness than in the opening flavor blast. Very drinkable.
Medium bodied, with a coating, resiny mouthfeel, but not as extreme as many IPAs.
The session IPA that isn’t a session IPA. My first single hop IPA with Mosaic, I’m impressed by how it’s fruity and juicy but not sweet at the same time. I could drink this all night, and actually have a couple times, recently. I hope this becomes a regular visitor to Iron Goat’s taps rather than a one-off.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
