16oz pour at the brewpub for $5. This is one of numerous one-offs and rotators only available for on-premises consumption.

Sitting in one of IG's IPA glasses, this is a turbid, orangey shade of amber, with a good-sized, creamy, off-white head. Lots of spotty lace.

Fruity nose to this, first and foremost. Lots of citrus and stone fruit aromas.

The first thing to hit the tastebud beachhead is a bitter, citrusy hop flavor. Midway through the taste, things get a bit more sweet, not unlike the flavor of mangoes. Things get a little more bitter at the swallow, where things end on a piney note. Malt flavor is pretty un-showy, with just enough flavor that you know they're providing some balance but otherwise they're minding their own business.

Medium bodied, with a slick, oily mouthfeel.

Really dig this beer. Iron Goat has done fresh hop beers before, notably SpoHop, but they've really jumped in with both feet this year with at least three. This might be my favorite. I really hope they do something like this next year.
