16oz can purchased at Huckleberry's in Spokane, Washington. According to the stamp on the the can, it was canned on February 10, 2020.
Poured into an IPA glass, this was a slightly hazy, golden shade of amber, with a good-sized, fluffy white head that hung around for a bit and left lots of lace.
Light and lemony in the nose, with a faint sour scent.
Mellow citrus juice flavor up front, followed by a mild, bitter, grassy herbal flavor, with just a hint of sourness way in the background that is somewhere between tart and funky (and no, I do not believe any Brett was used in this).
Light bodied for an IPA, with a fairly soft mouthfeel.
I wouldn't call this a flavor bomb, but it is both interesting tasting and extremely drinkable. I've had a couple Mug Club servings of this when I could still pay conjugal visits to my mug at the brewery (fuck you Covid-19) and it goes down easily and all too quickly.
