22oz bomber purchased at Iron Goat as part of their pizza+2 bombers for $20 special. Probably the one thing I'll miss about the pandemic when it's in our rear view mirror.
Hazy, opaque apricot-amber color. Decent sized eggshell-white head, good lacing.
Hoppy in the nose. It's a hoppiness that suggests tropical fruits and melons.
Kinda sweet up front, very much in tune with the qualities noted in the nose above. Midway through, things get a little more citrusy, and it finishes on a more bitter, piney and grapefruity note than the beginning of the taste might've suggested, although nothing is out of proportion.
Medium bodied, with a slightly oily mouthfeel.
Iron Goat's version of Bodhizafa? It kinda seems like the same kind of beer, although more hazy looking. Bet this would really be enjoyable on a warm day out on the brewery's patio. Hopefully, I'll get to test out that hypothesis before too terribly long.
