Mug consumed at the source for approx $7. Here's IG's description:
"This beer was inspired by the James Webb telescope photo of the Cartwheel Galaxy. Paired with Omega's Lunar Crush thiolized lager yeast and a heaping dry hop load of Galaxy hops, this beer will for sure send those taste buds into space! On the nose one may find notes of dankness, sweet fruit, and a bit of mango. To end, this beer has that bright lager crisp and a fresh hoppy finish. Cheers! "
Clear, golden amber color. Beautiful beer. Moderate sized off-white head, decent lace.
Citrusy, tropical fruit and melon-like hop aroma. To be expected for Galaxy hops.
Taste is pretty much like the aroma. Fruity, melon-y, slightly bitter on the back end. Finished clean yet with a slightly "sappy" finish.
Medium bodied, finishes quite clean for something hopped up with Galaxies.
Really dig this. Iron Goat kinda started their career with Southern Hemisphere hops, so this is a nice nod backwards for them. I'm going to be hitting this regularly, I suspect.
