Formerly known as Garbage Pale Ale, this beer was renamed in honor of the late Paul Edminster — IGB co-founder and legendary brewer.
Paul's Pale strikes a balance between malt and hoppiness, while retaining the characteristics of an American Pale Ale. Citra and Galaxy hops lend flavor and subtle aroma to this refreshing, honey-colored ale.

Taster flight at Iron Goat. Golden pour, ring of foamy white head. Hoppy aroma starts it off. Despite the aroma, the taste is a nice malty, sweet taste with notes of toffee.

A typical pale ale with kind of an odd sweetness that I don;t really care for. It's OK, but there are better beers in the place.

Probably more an IPA. Very rich hop aroma and earthy flavor of grain. Enjoyable beer

Grabbed this in a shaped, fluted 20oz glass at one of the bars at the Spokane Airport.
A:: Cloudy orange with a decent amount of off-white head and lace.
S: Pungent, pithy citrus. Buried sweet orange (marmalade? Clementine?) character. Nice hop notes here, just enough of a malt backbone to balance.
T: Follows the nose, some faint malt and maybe some caramel? There is some sweetness. Citrus, citrus pith, even hints of pine here. Medium bitterness.
MF: Nearly medium bodied with a dry finish.
O: This is decent, definitely enough hop character for an APA. I like the hops chosen for this one too, good citrus notes throughout. Not a bad local, small brewery selection.

Tasted this at the Iron Goat tasting room. I believe it was the first time they'd brewed it.
Poured a pale orange with not much head due to it being very cold and filled to the top.
Reviewing from memory here but the aroma was a little muted. That could have been a factor of timing and temperature as well as the glassware being used.
Overall a very good go-to pale ale that I'll be ordering again in the future.
