incredibly mature wild ale with peaches, aged in chardonnay barrels i believe, a really impressive beer overall right here, immensely fresh and real tasting peaches in here, sun ripened and juicy, the essence of summer, and a neat complexity to the yeast profile, a total gem. i am surprised how clear it is from the bottle, brassy to orange in color with insane clarity and shine, even the bottom of the bottle isnt full of sediment. very prominent white head on it too, belgian looking in its liveliness. fresh peaches in the aroma, fruity wine and oak tannins, some fleshy sweetness, a simple cereal malt base, and a nice mix of funk and bacterial acidity, lactic but also bretty, mature and rustic, a neat contrast to the fresh peaches. the flavor is just like that, with the peaches front and center, dripping juicy, fully natural, almost fuzzy from the skins, light tartness there too accentuated by the moderate sourness, and farmy funk, this tastes almost european, lambic-esque even, super well done, and the fruit is so forward here. the oak is as strong as the wine, both compliment all the peach really well, and the sharp white grapes in here are awesome in the finish. carbonation is excellent, and this beer was sensational overall. need to get my hands on some more wild stuff from silver city, this was next level! thanks to drlovemd87 for sharing!

Look : One finger white head, slightly hazy orange body.

Smell : See below. Almost has a bit of a floral quality, could that be the chardonnay?

Taste : Tart peaches, vanilla, a note of coconut, wheaty finish.

Feel : Medium sourness, medium body, medium-low carbonation.

Poured into a Pint Defiance Tulip. Body is a clear orange, with a rapidly fading thin white head. Aromas consist of juicy ripe peaches, some coconut from the oak barrel aging, a bit of honey, some floral spiciness, and some funkiness. Flavors consist of the same, the sourness is moderate and lingers for quite some time. Also, the beer starts a bit sweet and quickly transitions to a dry finish. The beer's aroma is sweeter than when you drink it. The feel is medium bodied with high carbonation, and has some mild tannin that you can feel on your tongue and roof of your mouth.
