Supplemented by a hearty dose of cocoa, freshly roasted coffee, and a hint of vanilla, Kwik Stout is a unique style of stout brewed with lactose, a special sugar found in milk that isn’t consumable by yeast, resulting in a silky sweetness. So creamy and delicious you’ll [almost] want to drink it with a straw.

This is one of the best milk stouts I've ever tasted, or maybe the best!! The aroma is sweet chocolate and dried fruit. No bitterness from the hops or coffee. This is one smooth stout with the lactose used in brewing process. Too bad this is a limited series as I would buy more of this. 22 oz bottle don't remember where I purchased it, but according to the ratings I must have had it for 3 or 4 years. IT AGES VERY WELL!! 40 IBUs Rated 3-1-2023

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 4/12/22 into a snifter.
Look- Black, medium brown frothy head, opaque, average lacing, above average head retention.
Smell- Coffee, cocoa, toasted oats.
Taste- Coffee, cocoa, vanilla, toasted oats, mildly sweet, moderately bitter.
Feel- Between medium and full body, moderately bitter, below average carbonation, very mildly mouth coating, milk like feel probably due to the lactose.
Overall- Flavors and bouquet not very well balanced for my liking. The low carbonation and silky/medium thick feel is nice for milk, but not what I’m looking for in a beer.

On-tap in Meridian, served in a snifter; pours out a dark brown/black with minimal tan head and lacing. Strong cocoa and sweetened chocolate, NesQuik-esque, with impressions of roast and coffee and Hershey’s bars. More silky-smooth cocoa sweetness on the palate combined with some roasty espresso, minor roasty bitterness on the finish. Smooth creamy body, minimal alcohol presence. The palate isn’t quite perfect for me, not quite artificial tasting but not totally authentic? Overall it’s very good though.

Charcoal black with brown speckling and indeed a chocolate milk cap. Smell has sweet milk chocolate, lightly roasted malt, slight barley, and a hint of a sweet coffee drink. Taste is too sweet for me to enjoy for too long, milk chocolate dominates with some light roasted malt to balance. Gets syrupy as it warms, with malt to the max in general. Better versions of this stout out there

2019 bottling (22oz) of Silver City Brewery's Mocha Milk Stout "Kwik". This one weighs in at 8% ABV and 40 IBU according to the label. Can it work as a summer stout? Aroma is of baking cocoa with no hint of sweetness or milk. Flavor is robust, with blackened barley coming down to meet dark chocolate. Lactose quality is not nearly so pronounced as marketing would lead me to believe. This chocolate stout means business. Although now I kind of want an oatmeal cookie.

This beer is so brown it's nearly black. Very little head, but what is there is exceptionally creamy and fits the brew well. Aroma is pretty typical, chocolate, licorice and coffee, matched by flavors of the same. Very smooth, although it almost slips into syrupy range. Pretty hefty alcohol bite, but overall it's a tasty desert beer.

This is freaking delicious. Truly does taste like chocolate milk, malt milkshake, coffee espresso roasted malt, cookies, thick, frothy lactose bubbles. Silky sweetness. (Pale, roast, chocolate, dark crystal malts)
