On-tap at the PIB... reminded me of Hop Stoopid.. like a clone, but much better!
- Somewhat dark copepr and caramel color, bubbly head that quickly went down to a mild swarm of lacing... somewhat clear..
- Fruity citrus hop, sweet candy, and caramel.... hard to explain..
- Taste is much the same.... fresh citrus hops and lots of them, a bit of a sweet caramel and candy malt, very smooth and not too over the top. All around great tasting IPA..
- Citrus goodness, just a touch of the chewiness and dryness.. but not much, very good...
- Super drinkable, great flavor, great carbonation... wish I could get this one on a more regular basis... truly a great dry-hopped IPA.

Really outstanding floral hop nose. Hints of Northwest Citrus but more grassy and floral than most DIPAs brewed around these parts. Good caramel malt underneath it but definitely in the background.
Light amber colored with a nice 1.5 inch thick layer of pure white foam that eventually fades to a persistent quarter inch layer that is fed by the rising bubbles around the glass and leaves great lacing. Perfectly clear.
Flavor profile is right off strong bittering hops. But that is quickly replaced with lots of caramel malt that is almost like treacle or Callard & Bowser's toffee. There's also a more floral hops that comes across in the flavor. Not perfumey flavored but it makes me think of wildflowers (or how I would expect wildflowers to taste should I decide to eat a few.) There's also a spicy component that I can't quite pin down.. Is it hops, a yeast effect, or is it added? But on the yeast side, there's good ale fruitiness and some lingering esters that add complexity.
Body is a bit heavy. Carbonation level is a little light for the style but not bad. A little more and the whole thing would feel more lively and feel lighter.
Wow, a very nice beer from a lesser known local brewery. I've had the standard Whoop Pass many times and liked it but wasn't wild about it. This dry-hopped batch is something else entirely. I would put this among my favorite local versions of the style. Get some if you can!
