Pours a handsome clear amber with fine-grained and persistent foam to lovely it up. Sudsy mouthfeel is another plus for this light-bodied beer. Inviting aroma of melon and citrus with straw in the nose. Flavors of lime peel with a hint of resins. Just enough bitterness to go with the mellow malt. Notes of wheat cereal and a hint of apricot.

Overall, this is a lushly flavored but restrained hoppy brew that is a delight to drink. From the 12 oz can "Produced and canned by Silver City Brewery in Bremerton, Washiington." Dated 06/14/21 but it spent the winter in the cold garage.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Cloudy golden pour, creamy, foamy head. Aroma is a combination of light fruity, citrusy hoppy notes. Taste focuses on the hoppy part, bringing classic APA flavor on top of subtle citrus and orange presence. Super easy to drink, and tasty too.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned on 6/14/21.

Appearance: light golden hue with a little touch of haze and two fingers of frothy ivory foam. Looks good to me!

Smell: light malt with pungent, grassy hops; not bad, but a bit funky and perhaps not in the best way.

Taste: lightly malty and moderately bitter; the hop character is just a bit lemony as well as grassy and perhaps a little herbal. It's a middle of the road, refreshing pale ale.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: not a bad beer at all, although the aroma is a little bit out of whack. Refreshing and drinkable.

12oz can (3/24/21) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a very cloudy/hazy straw yellow color with over an inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.

The aroma had a light grain base topped by citrusy (mostly lemon) hops.

Pretty similar on the palate. The lemon was followed by some grapefruit on the finish.

The body was light-medium, had good carb, and a semi-dry finish.

Drinkability was good, an easy quaffing brew.

Overall, a solid example of the style. Worth a shot if you see it.

On-tap in Meridian ID and served in a pint tumbler.

A: Clear pale straw with minimal head and lace.

S: Hop-forward; fruity and piney, floral and moderately tropical; lemon-limey as well.

T: Pine and resin, lemon & lime, with some pineapple and melon and pear, fruity and only mildly bitter. Malt is really only faintly present in a grainy foundation.

MF: Crisp, clean, easily drinkable with a light body.

O: Pretty nice little pale that doesn’t try to do too much; enjoyable and seems like a good offering for all kinds of weather and accompaniments.

not sure if this is rightly listed here or of these should be done under their flagship location page listing, perhaps this one particular to the brewery location, but i dont think so. still, do not feel right about adding a duplicate listing for it elsewhere, so i will review it here, its all the same company anyhow. this is a really tasty pale, drinkable but flavorful, fully hop driven but not really very bitter at all, a great beer for all day drinking, versatile with food, supremely fresh, and another fine beer from these guys, who appear to be making a pretty good splash in the idaho market since they have come over. i get a bit of melon, fleshy citrus, green pear, and spruce, its more fruity than piney but both elements are in play, and there is enough from the pale malt base for it to appear as balanced as i want a pale ale to be. a little hazy in the glass but still light in looks, glowing even, and light in texture, i have no issue with the cloudiness whatsoever in this instance. its robust but still definitely in the pale range for me, and thats increasingly hard to do these days as everything is dry hopped to oblivion. this is smooth, maybe ever so slightly under carbonated from the tap in my experience, maybe more lively there from the can, but overall this is excellent. i have really been enjoying all of their stuff coming into idaho of late, everything is distinctive and real nicely executed. real solid pale here.
