A: Poured a deep brown with good carbonation and a nice tannish cap
S: Mainly light cocoa but that's about it
T: Ok. Where do I begin? Besides the usual disappointments from Silver City I ma not surprised by the lack of craft and quality in this beer. First off, the wine barrel characteristic is not present in the taste whatsoever. Theonly thinkg in the taste I get is a light cocoa, probably from the black malt used in this beer, some light floral hops
M: Light body, crisp with a light wine like silky texture but lacking on taste for the body.
O: Poor representation of the style and why would anyone attempt to kill a Kolsch by adding black malt and then trying to age this in a wine barrel?
