There wasn't much of a vibe to the place on a Wednesday afternoon. We walked in and were the only two patrons for the first 15 minutes until another two individuals walked in. It seemed like the only two other people at the establishment were one brewer and one bartender. Having said that, it was nice to not have a noisy place around.

Quality of the place is top notch. Really clean, well laid out and aesthetically appealing with the fermenters and barrels placed in viewing site. No complaints there at all.

Service was prompt when needed because there were so few patrons in the establishment at the time. Had there been more, it might have been difficult for just the two employees to keep up.

Selection was approximately 15 beers or so with a nice mix of IPAs and saisons/sours. Not much in the way of stouts or other styles, but that seems to be a common theme around the Seattle brewery scene. The quality of the beers was average to slightly above average from the beers I had.

Overall, this is a very nice brewery in a conveniently located unique shopping area on Bainbridge Island. There is a winery right next door and one of the best coffee roasters in America just a few buildings over (Storyville Coffee Roasters). If happened to be visiting Bainbridge Island, I would recommend making a stop over to this brewery and enjoying some beers in a quality establishment. But I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to make it to Bainbridge Island specifically to visit the place.

Great brewery on Bainbridge Island. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I happened into here on a night when they had a live band which was pretty good. I had a sample tray, the beers were solid. The Kolsch was outstanding as was their IIPA "Hoptopus". The IPA was fantastic too. One guest tap from a local brewery "Rainy Daze" which I didn't get to try. I'll be back!

I was visiting Seattle with my in laws this weekend, trying to hit up all the must-visit places for beer that I could find. We decided to take the ferry for a view and my father-in-law found this gem online. He has a penchant for brown ales, so we headed up so he could get a taste. We made it in less than an hour before close. As a former bar worker, I know some places don't like when you come in late and the service can drop off accordingly. However, that was not the case at this place. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by the bartender with a smile. My father in law ordered his beer and I asked for a good hop head beer. She poured up a hoptopus DIPA which was very tasty. Then the owned came up and began to make conversation. He was very warm and explained several of his beers. We talked a little about home brewing and the local hops, and he offered us some fresh hops to place in our beer, which was quite nice. He then gave us a taste of a few of his brews including the kolsch, amber, and IPA. We grabbed a growler of amber to go and wished him good luck. Great place.
