Hazy brown colour. Smells tart and juicy. Sour chetries, red currants and nail varnish; a little oaliness. Tastes balanced and juicy throughout. Good carbonation. Tart berries, cherry, boozy whiskey comes creeping in. Hints of faint toffee but mostly fruits. Oak and slight smoke finish that lingers, drying it up. Easy drinker for 7.5%.

A blend of 2 brews of our dry stout, 1 brew has matured 4 months on Benriach barrels and Laphroaig barrels. The other brew matured for 2 months with our Lactic culture of our Oud Bruin.
Rather strange dark brown beer with scanty beige ead, low retention.
Smell - sour, whiskey, roasted, creme brulee, ink, funk.
Taste - slightly sour, chocolate,
Medium body, good carbonation, light in common.
Really interesting experimental beer.

Muddy dark brown pour with a lively tan-coloured head with decent retention. The smell is very lambic-like, sour and funky, with a little bit of vanilla in the background. The taste is quite underwhelming - not quite as sour as the nose suggested, and not too bitter either. Notes of chocolate, coffee and molasses in the finish make things a bit better, though it's still quite bland in the end. Medium carbonation and a neutral mouthfeel - neither smooth nor rough. A bit watery.

Pours a dark, black and red color, with a beige head. The taste is a bit tart mixed with a roasted, coffee-like aroma. But the lack of balance between these flavors ruins it for me. A bit of a disapointement.
