500ml bottle into tulip. Batch 1.
A: Pours a slightly hazy lemon color with a soft and thick white head that slowly faded into a fuzzy collar. Sheets of rocky lace were left down the glass.
S: Creamy yeast nose with hints of golden fruits, vinous and dry white wine, peppery spices and a kiss of acidic and bright lemon.
T: Yeast flavors mixed with the wine barrel create a lightly tart and almost citrusy taste. Golden fruit flavors are subtle, and are overshadowed by the vinous wine barrel. The finish is bright and lightly acidic, and the aftertaste is tingly, spicy, buttery, and semi-sweet.
M: Full body, thick and chewy carbonation, medium sweet mouthfeel with a pleasant amount of balancing dryness.
O: A great treatment of the original beer. The wine really stands out and adds some interesting complexity.
