32oz growler into tulip.
A: Pours a clear light golden with an airy cap of white foam. Sheets of lace were left down the glass with each sip.
S: The nose is fresh and clean with scents of citrus rind, sweet citrus juice, and a touch of bready malt.
T: Follows the nose with crisp, light, and clean flavors of citrus hops and a touch of pine. I get hints of roasted malt in the finish and maybe a touch of caramel. The aftertaste has a sticky hop oil quality and fresh bitterness that lingers long after the swallow.
M: Great light body with a crisp and dry mouthfeel, soft carbonation, and a drying finish. There is a presence of resinous and fresh hop oils, but it doesn’t lie on the tongue too long.
O: This ipa doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s delicious and drink well overall. Probably the best hoppy beer I’ve had from the brewery yet.
