GdaĆsk 28/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Polo Market in Hel. Big gold Star on Green background with small ornamental hop flowers.
Pours unclear amber with small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of almost transparent foam. No Lacing.
Aroma is lightly fruity, sweetish with a light metallic odor. Peach, Mango, Pear. Lighter citric notes of lemon and citrus. Very light metallic touch. Like tin foil.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Refreshing, pretty simple APA. A bit sweetish but not bad.

The other beers from this brewery that I tried had potential, especially the IPA...so let's try this.
Looks like West Coast IPA, pretty good head, and aroma like tropical juice with some hops.
Really weak bitterness and malt, mega strong tropical fruits. Especially passion fruit, peach, tangerine, mango and some faint orange and lemon peel.
Amazing fruitiness but almost no bitterness, and very thin mouth feel...as a result it tastes more like tropical juice than an APA, and I would much prefer a Namyslow or Lomza that actually tastes like beer.
Not a fan of this, it's a bit weak and needs lots more hops, strength and bitterness.

Pours clear, gold in color with one half inch head. Taste is pale malt. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter. Below average and not memorable pale ale. Pinta makes better.

300ml Keg at Piw Paw Parkingowa, Warsaw (10PLN):
Sadly this one was a beer that turned out to be quite a disappointing offering from the Pinta brewery, especially considering it was my first beer from the brewery. The beer featured some nice floral touches in the early going with faint citrus & pine in there as well but I felt it was far from a fresh beer & one that was under-carbonated into the bargain. I was definitely looking for something a little stronger when I sampled this one & as such I never really enjoyed the beer, there was no sign of any sweetness that I'd associate with this type of beer & it could have been far more lively with a better too; definitely not one I'd go back to I'm afraid.

The color orange amber, cloudy. Head slightly yellowish, compact, small and medium bubble, it is quite rigid.
Aroma: very intense smell of resin, woods, fruity rather delicate.
Taste: here the same, primarily resin, woods then very gently, sweet fruits - tangerines.
Gentian herbal resin, dry and pleasant. Saturation average.

50 cl bottle shared. Pale orange pour with a white head. Smells like pine, honey and lemons. Light and refreshing, with the taste following the same notes.
