Hazy pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is lemony and lactic. Taste starts tart, lemony and smokey. The flavors a very balanced, it's not overly smokey or tart. Body and carbonation are light. Quite nice overall, a good example of a lichtenhainer weisse.

Small fine white foam, orange murky body
clean smoke, not the campfire or meat kind, pale malt sweetness, dried yellow fruits
tart, sour, balanced by some fruitiness and the malt sweetness, tart, bitter and smoke in the aftertaste
refreshing, substantial body for the given low ABV, almost chewy
Surprisingly complex and balanced beer for such a low ABV. Smoke is quite restrained and might also appeal to people who disdain smoked beers.
