Light golden colour, slightly iridescent. Fine-bubbled, white, high head with good retention. Leaves abundant stains on the glass, although there is no typical lacing.Sweet, hoppy and fruity (tropical) aroma. I would describe the aroma intensity as high.
The flavour is slightly sweet with a distinct bitter counterpoint. The bitterness has a fruity zest character. It is distinct, long and moderately high.
The alcohol is well hidden. Full-bodied. The texture is "slippery", perhaps even soapy, smooth. The aftertaste is long and dry.

Copenhagen 19/11 2024. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. White and green can with different forms in different shades of green.
Pours slightly unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head Settles as a thin and patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with sweet, fruity odor mingling with a more aggressive citrus scent. Pineapple and peach. Grapefruit, lemon and lime. Sharp and dry.
Light carbonation. slightly thick, oily, soft yet tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is bone-dry.
Potent and dry as a desert.

Pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of doughy, biscuity malt and citrus hops, with notes of grapefruit and lime peel, as well as some grassy, slightly floral accents also coming through. Taste is a good balance of doughy, biscuity malt and fruity, slightly grassy, floral, dank and resinous hops, with citrus and tropical notes of grapefruit, lime peel, mango and pineapple, as well as just a hint of pine also coming through. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grapefruit, lime peel and pineapple lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I think this makes for a very modern and perhaps not all that accomplished West Coast IPA, although I will admit that this could be up to 6 months old, who can tell with best-by dates that could be anywhere between 4-12 months? It's just not bitter and resinous enough for my personal taste, while I would have also appreciated a bit more of a caramel malt backbone to this as well. The hops are very much focused on quite zesty citrus notes, with lighter tropical fruit and hints of grassy, floral, dank and resinous accents. Like I said, I would have prefered less grassy and floral and more bitter and resinous notes here. Overall, this makes for nice enough IPA that just doesn't quite fulfill the expectations I have of a WCIPA though.
