Copenhagen 21/6 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Photo of a crumbled, dented, white beer can lying on a blank floor on the can.
Pours murky, slightly dirty golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly boozy, fruity odor mingling with a bit of citric fruit. Mango and papaya with a touch of decay. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry, slightly boozy finish.
Joyous indeed.
