Frederiksberg 21/1 2025. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small creamy, beige head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of roasted dark malts mingling with citric notes. Toffee and singed caramel. Brown sugar. Whiff of Grapefruit reminding me of a Black IPA.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, soft, smooth, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a pleasant sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Silken with a citric touch.
