Copenhagen 10/10 2019. 33 cl bottle from Auchan outside the centre of Gdańsk. The usual Imperator Baltycki label with a Francisco sea, a tiller and a Lighthouse.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a medium-sized off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet, dark and boozy. Brown sugar, chocolate of the bitter variety, hints of peat, dark, sweet Liquor, oak and vanilla.
Light carbonation. Thick, smooth, Soft, creamy texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a lighter bitter undercurrent. Lingering.
Solid Baltic Porter. Heavy without being cloying. Boozy without being brutal.
