Copenhagen 24/10 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Very obscure artwork which looks a bit like a sub-terran landscape with a dark forest and something unfathomable in light grey.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small, lightly beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of dark, roasted malts mingling with lactose and earthy notes. brown sugar toffee, light roastiness. Some oat malts and dark bread peeking in. Whiff of humid soil.
Light carbonation. slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a light sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Finish is sweetish and a tad milky.
Solid Oatmeal Stout with a fine intensity despite a modest ABV.

A 4.5% oatmeal stout with real oatmeal and significant smoke. Only a little head. Smoke in aroma. Black bodied, fuller mouthfeel. Good drinkability, a little wood. East Golden hops. I liked it although not really the style.
