Plain Jane is a Kolsch style beer with a bright straw-yellow hue, and it has a prominent, but not extreme, hoppiness. This style offers simple pleasures with aromatics that are a light melange of hops, malt, and fruit. The bitterness is restrained, but the palate is light-bodied, fruity and bready. Very drinkable and refreshing, and since they have a strength of about 5 percent, they are beers one can stick with for the evening.
