On tap at Get Well. First of their beers that I have tried.
Cloudy caramel in colour with a small, frothy off-white head.
Lots of rye in the nose, along with some caramel. Scent is a bit thin.
Taste is an improvement. Spicy rye and juicy citrus fruit, mainly grapefruit. Fairly bitter. While the hops are clearly evident, the malt bill really does most of the work here. Big rye focus.
Medium bodied, but yet somewhat watery. Moderately carbonated. Despite being on tap, almost felt like it was cask-conditioned, but not for the better.
Overall, pretty good. Nice rye-focused beer. Get Well had two other beers on tap while I was there (Pinball Wizard APA and a porter) and this was certainly the best one.

A rye ale with very lots and lots of rye, on tap at Get Well. Freshly brewed and put on, with some hops flavour in the finish. Good drinkability, I made the pint. Smooth mouthfeel for a rye. Hazy yellow with very little head. Best I have had here, and a good choice.
