Summer Haze

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a nice looking semi-hazy burnt orange color with a sly transparency about it. Mild carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a bubbly to foamy white head. Head dissipates within less than roughly thirty seconds. Extremely low lacing. The aroma had some sweet wheat with sly citrus sweet to bitter hops. Delicate refreshing grassiness moves in to touch the base of the aroma. The flavor tries to bring the aromatics together but it seems incoherent and stays separate in its flavor. Sharp citrusy aftertaste with a misleadingly sharp to bitter citric finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a refreshing crushability about it. Carbonation hits decently. Overall, pretty good APWA I could come back to if handed.

 

 

 

Slightly hazy told with a bubbly white cap.

But orangey nose with peach and pineapple and grainy sweetness. Citrus juice, very floral.

The taste is lots of orange juice and peel with some peach and pineapple. There's a grainy and almost metallic backbone. Very light and crisp. Dry finish with lingering citrus flavors.

Very light body, but very carbonated and chuggable.

An excellent summer refresher!

 

From a 16 oz can purchased at the brewery. Pours a golden amber with a 1/2 inch white head. Delicious summer ale, crisp and not overly bitter. Perfect for a hot day.
