Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a glossy semi-transparent sort of bronzed golden to yellow color with a finger’s worth of quickly dissipating white foamy head. Messy lace. The aroma had a nice blend of sweet corn malt flowing evenly into some grassy hops. The flavor was mainly sweet through the malts. Hops seem barely there. Chewy malty aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt where it was projected. Overall, pretty crushable blonde ale for the most part, I could see myself coming back to this. I wonder what it would do like in a "black & tan" styled bar pour, just wondering.
