Our newest beer is an extra pale, extra hoppy pale ale. This extra pale ale is less malty than a traditional pale ale, to allow the citrusy goodness of the hops to shine through. This quaffable pale ale has a wonderful stone-fruit aroma and a grassy hop flavor.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a moderate sort of hazy peachy orange color with a sustaining finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Sly stringy lace. The aroma had a sweet peachy/slightly tropical fruity blend of hops hitting against a low malt backbone. The flavor situated itself upon the sweetness of the hops, tasted really good. Malts seem to show some presence blending finely on into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected. Overall, looking forward to grabbing more cans of this.

Pounder can poured into a pint glass. Golden color with a cloudy off white head. Citrus and pine in the nose. Crisp and refreshing. Easy drinking and light on the tongue. Pretty good beer with a lower ABV, would drink again.

A thanks goes out to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, light pine. Taste is citrus, some malts, light bitterness, very easy drinking. Feels medium/light in the mouth and overall, considering the abv, is a solid beer.

Drinks like a Budweiser. Not a craft type beer but it is. 16oz tall boys and an extra pale ale. I liked it but not for crafthole reasons.

Poured into a pint glass from a 16oz tallboy can.
3.25 A: Moderately hazed dark orange color. Two fingers of foamy off-white head. Retention is a touch below average and half a finger of lacing is left.
3.5 S: Mix of floral, resiny, and citrusy hops. Bready yeastiness, a touch of spiciness, and grapefruit are most prominent. Light caramel supports a neutral malt backbone.
3.0 T: Mild to moderate bitterness. Focus remains on bready yeastiness. The hop flavor is also resiny with grapefruit. A slight metallic/mineral vibe. Light caramel. It's okay, but I wish it was a little cleaner.
3.25 M: Medium body. Somewhat chewy. Good moderate carbonation level. Could use more creaminess.
3.25 D: It's fine, but it's solidly average.
